Refund policy
Last updated 28 August 2026. 14 days free with no charge until the trial ends, then £14.99 a month or £149.99 a year. Cancel any time in the app, and request a refund within 14 days of a charge.
1. The 14 day free trial
TapQuote is operated by Jack Tyrrell, trading as "TapQuote". Every account starts with 14 days free. We take your card when the trial begins, but nothing is charged until the 14 day trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged and there is nothing to refund.
2. Cancelling stops future billing
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops all future charges. It does not automatically trigger a refund of a payment already made - your access simply continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops.
3. How to cancel
The easiest way is inside the app: open Settings, then Subscription, and choose Cancel subscription. You can also cancel through the billing portal link on your Paddle invoice, or by emailing support@tap-quote.com. Whichever you use, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

4. 14 day refund window
You can request a refund within 14 days of a charge. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, invoices, returns and refunds. Cancelling alone does not raise a refund - to ask for one, visit paddle.net, look up your order using the email address you purchased with, and submit a refund request, or email support@tap-quote.com and we will arrange it with Paddle for you.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method by Paddle. Bank processing times vary, but the money is usually back with you within 5 to 10 working days.
6. Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to your rights under UK and EU consumer law, including the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days where that right applies. Nothing here limits those rights. Paddle's own refund policy is available at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.
